The Taste Tester's Guacamole

Ever wonder why you hate a dish that someone else loves? It's because there is a science behind how you taste! If you are a supertaster, you will love strong tastes and flavors. If you are a non-taster, you will be unaffected by spicy foods. An average taster is somewhere in between. Try the recipe below to find out what kind of taster you are.

Chances are if you love the smell of cilantro, you will love the taste of guacamole - and vice versa. If you find yourself cringing at the thought of guac, click here for another recipe to get your healthy fats from avocados.

3 Ripe avocados
1/2 cup Diced red onions
2 Medium tomatoes (diced)
Juice of 1 lime
1 Small jalapeno
dash Hot sauce
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Freshly ground pepper
1 cup Chopped cilantro

Mash avocado, stir in the onions, tomatoes, lime, jalapenos and hot sauce. Add the salt pepper and cilantro and combine well.

Cover with plastic wrap directly on the guacamole to avoid discoloration and store for 1/2 hour before serving to give flavors time to develop fully.
