Sautéed Brussels Sprouts

This sautéed Brussels sprouts recipe incorporates turkey bacon for added protein and flavor.

4 slices Turkey bacon (chopped)
1 tbsp Olive oil (or coconut oil)
3 cloves Garlic (chopped)
1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
Salt and pepper
1 cup Chicken broth (low-sodium)

Brown bacon in skillet until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towel. Add olive oil to skillet and sauté garlic 1-2 minutes. Add brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper. Cook 2-3 minutes. Then add broth.

Cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes. Until tender. Transfer with slotted spoon to serving dish and top with bacon bits.
