1 cup grain hot cereal
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup steal cut oats
1/4 cup dried apricots
1/4 cup dried unsweetened cherries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Agave nectar or honey
1 cup unsweetened organic applesauce
1 cup grain hot cereal
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup steal cut oats
1/4 cup dried apricots
1/4 cup dried unsweetened cherries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Boil water and unsweetened organic applesauce. You may add more water as needed. Add hot cereal, quinoa and steel cut oats. Cook on the stove for 15-20 minutes, until grains are as soft as desired.
While cooking, stir in dried apricots, dried unsweetened cherries, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add agave nectar or honey to sweeten if desired when done cooking. Alternatively, you can also use raisins or dried blueberries.
Divide into 1/2 cup servings. Add fresh berries (blackberry, blueberry or raspberries) or walnuts with skim milk and artificial sweetener if desired. Put 1/2 cup servings into baggies and freeze. To serve, thaw and microwave with skim milk for about a minute.
