Chocolate Bark

This dark-chocolate dessert provides tons of heart-healthy benefits while keeping your waistline intact. Skip the store-bought stuff and whip this up at home instead. 

10 oz dark chocolate, 70% cocoa bittersweet chocolate
2 tsp instant espresso powder
1/2 cup toasted walnut pieces
1/2 cup toasted almond slices


Combine chocolate and espresso powder and place over a double boiler, heating on a low flame while stirring until chocolate is almost fully melted. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. 

Mix in the toasted nuts.  Spread mixture on a parchment-paper-lined sheet pan and chill until set, about 30 minutes. 

Break into pieces and serve. Makes 35 half-ounce servings.
