New York – (March 20, 2019) – Today, the ten-time Emmy® award-winning, critically-acclaimed, and nationally-syndicated The Dr. Oz Show received its 10th nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show and host Dr. Mehmet Oz received his 10th nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host announced for the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. This is the 10th consecutive nomination in each category for Dr. Oz and The Dr. Oz Show production team led by executive producer Amy Chiaro and co-executive producers Stacy Rader and Laurie Rich.

Now in its 10th season, and having curated over 2,000 landmark episodes, The Dr. Oz Show has impacted millions of lives by teaching viewers how to make every day count. Under the direction of Amy Chiaro, The Dr. Oz Show debuted in 2009 with the highest-rated syndication launch in over a decade. During the 10th season of The Dr. Oz Show, celebrity interviews included Roseanne Barr, Ron Howard, Tiffany Haddish, Wendy Williams, Alec Baldwin, Dolly Parton, Shaquille O’Neal, Shemar Moore, Daymond John, and Rita Moreno. Also on this season of The Dr. Oz Show, a new weekly series emerged called, The Dish On Oz, about everyone’s favorite obsession — food! The series featuring Daphne Oz and other foodies and chefs as they dish up everything from ‘Oz approved’ recipes, to viral food trends, to celebrity’s most instagrammable moments.

In its growing True Crime franchise, The Dr. Oz Show featured exclusive and never-seen-before moments with Casey Anthony’s father, John Bobbit, Aaron Hernandez’s brother, Joey Buttafuoco’s ex-wife and daughter, and Natalie Holloway’s father. Season 10 has also covered timely events affecting our nation such as the doctors who have been on the frontlines of recent mass shooting tragedies in Parkland and Pittsburgh. In our upcoming programming we will feature a daytime exclusive sit down with rapper Meek Mill and Michael Rubin about Mill’s incarceration and the crisis in the parole system.
