Statement from the Montego Bay Police

This investigation is being conducted by a team of highly motivated homicide investigators drawn from our Major Investigations Division. The team is currently being supported by the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and law enforcement representatives from the United States of America through the United States Embassy here in Jamaica.

Despite intensive investigations into this matter we have not been able to prefer charges in regards to any prosecution. However we have pursued and continue to pursue several leads and have interviewed several persons. We are still in the process of analyzing a number of items for forensic evidence.


This particular matter is being given high priority attention and is being treated as a significant investigation and as such is now featured on our Crime Stop which is a public appeal carried in both print and electronic media where we seek public assistance for information regarding unsolved crimes.
