Ming Tsai’s Pineapple Watercress Smoothie

For all of you suffering from kale fatigue, chef Ming Tsai has created a smoothie recipe featuring the new supergreen on the block that’s going to kick kale to the curb – watercress! Watercress has more vitamin C than oranges, more potassium than bananas, and even more calcium than milk. Kale tends to be a little bitter, but the flavor of watercress is peppery and adds a zesty kick to this smoothie. Chef Tsai is also passionate about the cancer charity Family Reach. 1 cup Diced pineapple (chilled or frozen)
1 tbsp Minced ginger
1 Banana (diced, frozen)
2 cups Unsweetened almond milk (cold)
1 cup Packed watercress
1 cup Plain Greek yogurt (cold)

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy!
