J.J. Smith's Date Smoothie

If you feel like your regular smoothie recipe is lacking sweetness and flavor, dates are a great addition. Nutritionist J.J. Smith recommends adding two pitted dates to give your drink a delightful caramel flavor and a boost of nutrients such as iron, fiber, potassium, and B vitamins.

1 handful Greens
2 cups Almond milk
1 Banana (peeled and frozen)
1/2 cup Frozen blueberries
1 cup Frozen blackberries
2 Pitted dates

Blend all ingredients in a mixer until it reaches your desired consistency.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!
