1 lb Pasta of choice
3 tbsp Butter
1 Bunch asparagus (trimmed, and cut on a diagonal in inch-long pieces)
1 lb Medium shrimp peeled and deveined
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Cajun seasoning (to taste)
1 (10 oz) Can of mild diced tomatoes and green chilies
1/2 cup Half-and-half
Parmesan cheese (to serve)
1/4 cup Yellow onion (diced)

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the onion and sauté for about 2 minutes.

Add the asparagus and sauté for 3 minutes.

Add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes.

Season with salt, pepper, and cajun seasoning.

Pour in the diced tomatoes and half-and-half and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

Remove from the heat and pour over the pasta. Toss to coat the pasta thoroughly, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve immediately.
