High-Protein Pizza Sauce

Eating pizza doesn't have to be off-limits when you're trying to lose weight and be healthy. By adding a few key ingredients into the mix you can ramp up the nutritional benefits and still enjoy your favorite comfort food. Nutritionist Chelsey Amer recommends skipping store-bought marinara sauce in favor of this protein-packed recipe full of beans, sundried tomatoes, and other fresh ingredients.

1 (15 oz) Can white beans (drained)
1/2 cup Olive oil-marinated sun-dried tomatoes
2 tbsp Olive oil
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan
2 tsp Italian seasoning

Puree all ingredients in a blender or food processor and spread on top of your pizza.
