Addiction is a serious and life threatening disease. Sometimes, despite clinical efforts, there are and will continue to be unfortunate outcomes. It is critical in such times of tragedy to rally together as a treatment community. Divisiveness will magnify the stigma of addiction and silence the voices of those who are most in need.
