Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis a serious problem in older women and men, and it can put you at risk for dangerous fractures. Boosting bone-friendly foods in your diet can help to slow the loss of bone as you age. In this case, natural sources of calcium and vitamin D can go a long way to strengthening your bones. Bony fish like sardines can boost your calcium levels, while fatty varieties like salmon or tuna can also provide vitamin D. Fruits and vegetables are also great sources of calcium, magnesium and potassium, which can also contribute to bone health.
