Create a Mindful To-Do List
This first hack is great for people who want to be more conscientious, productive, and organized. It’s a tool that, like most cognitive behavioral tools, makes the prefrontal cortex more active. At the end of every day, write down five to seven things you need to get done the following day. The next morning, start with your first item and work only on that item until you actually finish it. Then, move onto the next item with the same diligence and attention. If there are a few tasks you don’t finish, simply move them into the number one or number two spots for the following day. Repeat each day and your conscientiousness levels will rise. You’ll find yourself more organized, successful, and attentive.
