You Can Use Old Sunscreen
While you may think that you can use sunscreen from year to year to save money, older sunscreen is actually not safe to use. Bottles of sunscreen are usually only good for three years when stored in a cool, dry place. But you take your sunscreen to the beach or pool and it sits in the heat which causes its effectiveness to deplete rapidly over time. Check the expiration date on your bottle and do yourself a favor and buy new sunscreen every year to guarantee the best protection against UV rays.
