If you’re nervous that this diet plan will be miserably restrictive, you’re in luck: these sirtuin-activating foods are not only full of good-for-you polyphenols, they are also diverse, delicious, and can be incorporated into your meals in a number of creative ways.
A great source of flavonoids, dark chocolate (the kind that’s at least 70% cocoa and unprocessed), can improve your health in a number of ways. A small piece of dark chocolate is a great cure for your sugar cravings and it boosts your endorphins and serotonin levels at the same time. The chemicals found in chocolate can also help fight stroke, heart disease, and high blood pressure.
