Anti-Inflammatory Hot Coco With Turmeric & Ginger

If you deal with joint pain, you can still enjoy delicious foods without worrying about inflammation. This sweet treat features anti-inflammatory cacao, turmeric and ginger. And with the addition of cinnamon, nutmeg and sweetness, it's a warm drink you'll enjoy the entire season (or maybe the entire year!).

1 cup Almond milk, unsweetened
1 cup Water
2 tbsp Cacao powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground ginger
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of sea salt
Dash of fresh black pepper
Stevia, maple syrup or honey, to taste

Mix the water and milk in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add the spices and cacao powder. Allow to steep for a few minutes.

Stir in the sweetener of your choice. Pour into your favorite cup and enjoy!
