Find out how to eat like a health guru.

With every passing day, it seems like another diet fad is upon us. With so much conflicting information out there, it can be hard to cut through all the noise and get to the bottom of things. If you are wondering what to avoid on your path to health and wellness, try eating like a nutritionist. We spoke to registered dietitian Maya Feller to find out which foods she avoids at all costs. Here are her 10 picks.
When it comes to buying yogurt, Feller opts for plain 2% Greek yogurt or any yogurt that has 11-13 grams of sugar per serving and is free of artificial sweeteners, fillers, and additives. Some yogurt brands have so many sugary ingredients they qualify more as a dessert than a healthy breakfast or snack. To keep it nutritious, stick to the plain version so you can add in your favorite toppings instead.
