Chicken Sausage and Kale Stir-Fry

The ketogenic diet — or keto diet — features low-carb, high-fat foods. Eating this way is intended to send your body into ketosis, a metabolic state where fat gets burned for fuel. With its use of high-fat foods like butter, cheese, and avocado, this stir-fry recipe from fitness trainer Drew Manning is a perfect way to try out the keto diet.

2 Organic chicken sausages (sliced)
1 handful of kale (or spinach), chopped
1 tbsp Grass-fed butter
1 oz Mozzarella cheese (sliced)
1/2 Avocado (sliced)

Stir-fry the sausage and the kale (or spinach) in a skillet with the butter. Let cook for approximately 5 minutes, constantly stirring.

Turn the heat off and add in the mozzarella and let it melt before serving.

Top with 1/2 avocado and enjoy!
