Boiled Edamame With Salt and Olive Oil

Recreate your favorite Asian appetizer in just a matter a minutes. Not only is edamame great for weight loss, it also has been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Edamame has a high protein content and less calories, which makes it an ideal snack for those seeking a smaller waistline. All this snack needs is some olive oil, salt,and pepper for extra flavor.  

1 cup Edamame beans
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Place edamame and water in a pan and bring to a boil.

Remove edamame from water and drizzle with oil, salt, and pepper.
