Soda Challenge | Day 4 | September 27| Afternoon

Now 96 hrs diet drink-free (water, tea and coffee without artificial sweeteners do not count in my counts) and doing well from a need for soda. But think I OD’d on coffee earlier today. Was in NY taping videos for the New RealAge test , and explained the new data to the medical team of the Oz Show and Mehmet. Important new analysis on foods, and increases the relative importance of lowering LDL cholesterol and raising HDL cholesterol ... and downgrading benefits of vitamin C and vitamin E. Almost grabbed a soda at lunch out of habit, but had non-sweetened plum tea instead – really tasted good. Coffee left me with a bitter taste when I had it all evening and, when I had a cup after red wine, it tasted really bitter (maybe I should clean that coffee maker more often). But made it through day 4.
