Botox Gets Better With Age

Are you one of the 5 million Americans who get Botox or Dysport injected into your forehead every 4 months? These drugs decrease those lines between the eyebrows, the crow’s feet and the horizontal forehead lines better than anything else. And their safety record for the upper face if excellent. But aren’t you tired of the 3-times-a-year routine? On average, Botox lasts about 4 months, and then, within 2 weeks, your scowl returns with a vengeance. So, I certainly recommend “dosing up” just before the effect dissipates.

You’ll be happy to hear that a new study has found that if you use Botox every 4 months for 2 years, the muscles weaken so much that they begin to take longer to recover. And so after 2 years, most people can lengthen the time between injections to 6 months. And while there isn’t any data yet, my bet is that when you hit 4 or 5 years of continuous Botox, that wrinkle-killing drug will last nearly a year.

It’s sort of the reverse of physical therapy – keep on hurting that muscle and eventually it might just go away. But in this case, unless you want to frighten away other people, that’s a good thing.

Could you imagine making 4.6 billion calls in a month?

And when your phone is ringing endlessly with scammers asking about your car's warranty, a free cruise, or even a scary warning about your insurance coverage, it can definitely seem like all the calls are going to you. So what do you do when you get one of these fake calls and how do you protect your personal information and money from cons? Here are the important steps to take.
