Banana Ginger Smoothie

Dr. James Rosser developed this recipe to help his patients combat acid heartburn. Set your antacids aside and begin your day with an alkaline-foods-based meal like this one to ease your heartburn symptoms homeopathically. 

1/2 cup Ice
2 cups Milk
2 Bananas (ripe)
1 cup Yogurt
1/2 tsp Fresh ginger (peeled and grated fine)
2 tbsp Brown sugar or honey (optional)

In a blender, add the ice, milk, bananas,yogurt and ginger.

Blend until smooth.

Add sugar as needed.
