Banana Ginger Energy Smoothie

This creamy smoothie uses ginger, which is one of the best ingredients for reflux. Also, yogurt and milk are both acid neutralizers that help keep reflux at bay.

Serves 3

1/2 cup ice
2 cups milk
2 ripe bananas
1 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp fresh ginger (peeled and grated fine)
2 tbsp brown sugar or honey (optional)

In a blender, add the ice, milk, yogurt, bananas, and ginger. Blend until smooth. Add sugar as needed.
