After several failed attempts, barber James Williams finally succeeded in giving Mason a haircut. While this may seem like an unimpressive feat, Mason was diagnosed with autism a few months ago and his mother has had difficultly trying to find someone to give him a haircut. Mason's autism makes him very sensitive to others touching him--especially with an object like scissors.

After a few months of trying to cut Mason's hair, one day James decided to get on Mason's level. Instead of making him sit in a chair and be uncomfortable and upset, James joined Mason on the floor and gently cut his hair while he played on his mom's phone. After he finished cutting Mason's hair, he recieved a hug from Mason as a thank you.
