Andrew Weil's Elixir

Sea buckthorn juice is an excellent source of antioxidants and protective phytonutrients and is among one of the most concentrated natural sources of vitamin C. The juice by itself is a bit acidic; however, this drink recipe from Andrew Weil's cookbook True Food makes the superfood more than just palatable.

1 oz Buckthorn juice
1 oz Agave nectar
Ice
Soda water

Put the sea buckthorn and agave in a cocktail shaker. Shake well to combine.

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the sea buckthorn-agave blend into the glass. Fill the glass with soda water.
